A third generation Lake Geneva native, Heidi’s design esthetic encompasses what it means to enjoy lake living. Comfort with grace with a festive element where all can gather. Her love to entertain at home plays into her design.
Welcoming rooms, full of color, fresh and bright with cheerful appeal are perfect for gatherings with family and friends. Love is in the details and personal touches are what make a house a home is her mantra.
“Choose things you love, and happiness will be in every corner. A home is a place that is full of warmth and where family and friends want to be and never leave, Isn’t that what a lake house strives to be or any house for that matter?”
Heidi studied at Columbia College, a Communications major. “It’s very important to listen to your client, communication is key. I want my client to be thrilled with the end result, anything less than that falls flat to me. To get there really listening to client needs and wants is imperative”.
Heidi spent ten plus years of employment with world class advertising agencies in Chicago. Developing a keen eye for color and detail, from a design standpoint are what brings a room to life. Exceptional client and vendor relationships, budget management, timing and delivery were required daily functions. Although she was on the production end of Advertising, Heidi always wanted to get to the creative end of things. Making her house a home and hosting themed parties gave her a creative outlet and propelled her to start her own business in event planning. She has since taken it a step further and joined Paper Dolls interior design team.
